Tips To Be Successful At Networking
Over the past few days I've been having individuals ask me to share information about how I go about networking. There is no one correct way to go about making contacts but I'll share a list of 20 points for you to remember.

1. Always carry business cards with you.
2. Don't ever pass up an opportunity.
3. Make sure you have everything you need to make a great impression.
4. Follow up with everyone.ing to.
6. Always be positive when talking to people.
7. Write an article about a topic in your industry
8. Practice active listening.
9. Keep your goal in mind.
10. Build on your relationships.
11. Every event is a chance to network.
12. Don't dismiss small talk.
13. Become a volunteer.
14. Radiate confidence even if you're nervous.
15. Perfect your handshake.
16. Educate your audience.
17. Ask people to introduce you to their contacts.
18. Aim to get your business visible.
19. Have your elevator pitch down.
20. Be approachable.
This are only a few things that should be considered when you are looking to increase your list of contacts. You may find that some of these tips work better for you than others. I would strongly suggest that you take some time experimenting to see which one works best for you. You should also understand that this list in not set in stone. That means there are plenty of other techniques that you may use to expand your list of contacts.
