8 Steps To Get Connected To Other People's Networks
If you are just establishing yourself or don't know many people just yet, why not borrow someone else's network? Most centers of influence are very connected and know a tremendous amount of people.

They have positioned themselves as a resource for a large audience and most likely have created a strong following.
If you want to get to know them and their network, here are a few ideas that will easily help you plug in to the people they know.
Here's how:
1.Become a talent scout - look for individuals that are already highly recognized and have an established network
2.Learn all you can about them - go back to your office and "Google" them. Do a little research to determine who they are and what they represent.
3.Visit their website - read and become familiarized with what they do.
4.Subscribe to their newsletters - get informed and stay on top of "their" current events.
5.Offer to submit content for their newsletter - You might be surprised to learn they don't mind including other material in their newsletter as long as it's relevant to their audience.
6.Promote them - As you are building your own network of people, you should share information about this person you want to support.
7.Become a raving fan - Talk about them often, send a personal testimonial to them, refer business directly to them, help them in any way possible.
8.Become their client - If they offer something that you are interested in, by all means buy something from them. They will appreciate your support and look for ways to help you even more.
Most likely, in return they will feel more inclined to introduce you to the people they know and take you under their wing. When you become their advocate, they will become yours. Collaborate with as many people as possible that are centers of influence and you'll discover how quickly you'll get connected!
