I know many small business owners and solo professionals get baffled by the word publicity. Many think its not for them. But publicity is for everyone. Why? Because publicity is about creating a buzz about you and what you do.

There are many ways to do that, but here are 10 powerful ways to use free publicity tactics to generate the buzz:

1. Commit to Serving
Service is the key to success. Make the focus of your business the delivery of great service and clients will be engaged to pay you to resolve their challenges.

2. Lots of Value=Testimonials
Offering great service and results will automatically give you the authority to ask for testimonials and use them to celebrate the value you offer your clients.

3. Craft Your Message
Know exactly what it is your company offers and delivers, what sets you aside from the rest and deliver that message consistently. Make that message stand out in your verbal and nonverbal business communication. Be prepared to toot your own horn at all times!!

4. Create a Memorable Bio
Don't be afraid of being fabulous and stating it. Declare your expertise and specialties in a likeable, respectable yet authentic way. This will serve you greatly in your business.
